HERITAGE RANGE FLUSH CASEMENT WINDOWS

The Heritage Window Range

Period and historic buildings deserve particular attention to detail when considering replacement windows. Our Heritage window range has been specifically designed for listed buildings and where conservation approval is required. Designs utilise single or slimline glazing options with lambs tongue profiling, suitable for the most architecturally sensitive projects.

Flush Casement

The Heritage Flush Casement window is an outward opening, period style timber window with a classical flush line appearance. The Heritage Casement has been specifically designed for listed buildings, country estates and where conservation approval is required.

Period and historic buildings deserve particular attention to detail when choosing replacement wooden windows and the Heritage timber Casement is sympathetically designed to complement the properties original features.

Exclusive Design Features

The period profile and option of single and double glazing make the timber Heritage Casement window ideal for the most architecturally sensitive of projects. The external putty bead design, internal Ovolo mouldings and optional addition of cill horns complete the traditional look to mirror the historic windows of the past.

The double glazed Heritage Casement provides energy efficient period living, with slimline 14mm krypton filled glazing to suit listed properties where historically traditional double glazing has been rejected. For buildings where double glazing is not deemed appropriate the 4mm single glazed Heritage Casement offers the perfect solution.

Weather Testing

The Bereco Heritage Flush Casement design was tested to BS6375, undertaken by independent accreditation body BM Trada achieving outstanding results for air tightness, water tightness and wind resistance.

Optional Features

The Heritage Flush Casement design replicates all the original features of a wooden period window, whilst incorporating the latest modern technology available in high performance joinery. Anti- Warp Clips are fixed to the top and bottom of sashes and frames as standard, acting as an enhanced security device and gaskets are fitted around the unit ensuring weather tight seals.

A popular window specification chosen to retain the historical features of a listed property is a farrow and ball colour paint finish, monkey tail Ironmongery with 16mm Georgian bars or antique black lead.
