Every Composite Duo Door is double rebated as standard. By fitting a double rebate to every external door, we're helping you to stay warm. And helping the environment. It makes the weather seals much more draught proof and effective than their single rebate equivalents. So you get to keep more expensive heat on the inside, whilst keeping more cold weather on the outside.

What's more, the high density central core of each door provides excellent acoustic and insulation qualities, helping to keep even more of the heat in than standard infill doors and achieving the highest ratings of any door on the market. All of which adds up to lower energy bills. Something that we all want!

Composite entrance doors pass the latest PAS23 standard, a measurement of resistance to air and water penetration, at the highest level.

 

Duo Plus PVCu composite doors are fitted with ultra-secure multipoint locking systems.

All Duo doors are 68mm thick. Their ultra-strong GRP skins, combined with an extra-strong multipoint locking system provide the highest level of security and deliver total piece of mind. The doors are 50% thicker than most competitors. Duo Composite Doors are fitted with high security, multi-point door locks and adjustable flag hinges as standard.

Within the context of security and piece of mind, you and your family can rest assured and feel safe behind the unique Duo Plus multi-point lock. For your security, all Duo Plus doors are fitted with a unique 12 point multilock. Simply by lifting the handle upwards all 12 lock features are engaged.

• 1 x centre locking latch.
• 4 or 6 x roller cams (Dependant on door height)

The all round security is complemented further by 3 high security hinges that include anti-lift properties, together with the subtle sight lines similar to that of a butt hinge.

High Security Cylinder Lock

Finally, the Duo Plus high security entrance door is fitted with the unique Magnum Superior cylinder and then key locked shut. The Magnum Superior cylinder is Kite marked and surpasses all of today's security requirements and cannot be drilled, picked, bumped or snapped and for your convenience all ultimate doors are supplied with 5 keys as standard.

From start to finish Duo Doors are designed, developed, manufactured and installed to meet or exceed all current British standards. Doors pass the PAS24 security standard, which measures resistance against forced mechanical and human entry. (Also weather performance PAS23 standards.)

Doors are tested to withstand extreme sunlight conditions and are UV stability guaranteed to 10 years.

Threshold

Optional aluminium low thresholds are available at 15mm(Part 'M Compliant) for easier wheelchair/pram access or 30mm heights.

To complement your new Duo Plus entrance door and your existing interior decor you may choose from a range of 4 hardware finishes; white, brass, chrome and black. These solid zinc handles are contemporary in design and will enhance the appearance of all doors regardless of colour and design. Brass and Chrome colour options both have a lacquer finish that will help prevent corrosion, especially around coastal areas.
