Tricept Vertical Sliders
The Tricept vertical sliding sash window has been developed as an authentic replacement window for the traditional wooden sash window.
Unlike its timber framed predecessor, this modern PVC-u equivalent reduces window maintenance to the minimum and provides a product of such eye-catching appeal it will grace any property with stunning double glazed window style.
A wide variety of decorative window options are available, designed to the finest detail for a perfect finish. An attractive ovolo shaped window bead complements the ovolo outer frame and sash profiles whilst equal sight lines offer a truly traditional sash window appearance.
Closer inspection reveals all the attention to detail necessary to preserve the character and appearance of the original concept.
Improved Window Security
Sash window security has been enhanced through the combination of internal glazing and the claw interlock between the two sliding sections. The tricept windows lock and sash hooks fitted to both sashes are matched in white, gold or chrome finish.

Easy Sash Window Operation
One of the most pleasing features is the easy opening action of the sash window itself. This is accomplished by the careful selection of correctly tensioned balances. The mechanism also allows you to tilt either sash inwards to enable the outside surface to be cleaned. Permanent secure ventilation can be achieved through an optional slender trickle vent fitted into the head of the outer frame if required.

The Original VS combines peerless elegance, a high standard specification and proven performance over many years within the John Fredericks Ultimate Collection of PVCu products. Using a matching profile system from WHS Halo, the Original VS allows the installer the ultimate level of compatibility when completing a mix and match of Vertical Sliders and Casements within the same installation.

- Decorative “face fixed horns” as standard – Give authentic traditional timber sash appeal.
- Traditional dimensions – 146mm outer frames as standard – All traditional timber dimensions have been replicated during the design process of the Original vertical slider. Including the 146mm outer frame, the authentic georgian bar width and contours and the fully sculptured tilting sashes.
- Glass options – Georgian inserts or Authentic Georgian glazing bars add to the appearance to give a truly authentic look. Choose between single, 2/3 or multi cruciform, with white spacer bar.
- Tilt facility – “Tilt inwards” feature on one or both sashes allows for easy cleaning as standard
- Balances – A feature of our window is the integral double sprung balances, which allows for a reliable and smooth glide operation.
- Sash lifts & ring pull – Choice of white, chrome or gold effect.
- Cam catches – Choice of locking or non-locking.
- Deep bottom rail sash – Optional “mortice” and “tenon” effect adds to the authenticity of sash joints.
- WER C rated performance – By using special seals and warm edge sealed units you have the option of choosing an even greater performing Original vertical slider.
- BS7950 window available – High security option available.
- Optional travel restrictor – Restricts the amount of opening on the lower sash to enhance safety and security.
- Night ventilation – Two stage cam catch keeps allow full or partial closure, giving a ventilation option without unsightly trickle vents.
- Optional ventilator – Choose from either “through sash” and aluminium bead or over glass ventilators as an alternative to the two stage keep ventilation.
